The Tissue-Tek Mega-Cassette is made to be used for processing and embedding larger, thicker specimens, including bone, eye, and teeth. There are three textured surfaces that can be written on to offer users easy identification and organization. The cassette are able to work with solvents and decalcifying solutions. This measures 30 mm x 24 mm x 11 mm.

Dimensions: 15 7/8" x 9 1/8" x 2 1/8". Identification labels included.

The 30Ý angled cassette features an extra-large writing surface and two side panels ideal for labeling. The cassette has an integral lid that snaps apart and securely locks into the base of the cassette. The lid can be removed and reattached repeatedly to access the specimen. Note: These cassettes are not suitable for use on cassette printers. Disposable plastic tissue cassettes are used for holding and identifying tissue samples in processing, embedding, and sectioning procedures. The cassettes fit securely in microtome chuck adapters. They are totally resistant to histological solvents. These cassettes are designed to accept standard metal lids and will also fit either the standard stainless steel base molds or the disposable plastic ones. Made from Acetal copolymer.
